Blue Tribal Chair

Do you guys remember when I post about this chair on this post. Well I finally got to fixing it.  At  first I though about just changing the fabric, but I I wanted a new color on it.

I did the white primer first to see if I should just paint it white since I had another color in mind, and even though it did look nice in white I felt like I wanted something darker.

I had picked up some paint samples for the walls in the living room but one of the colors ended up being to dark. I used the color to paint the chair and just added water base polythene to protect the paint since it was a fat finish on the paint sample.

For the sit, I had bough this fabric a while back, but hadn't had a chance to use it. The seat was pretty easy to remove and put back

Even though you might not be able to see the bottom hems I like to keep them nice and clean, also the staples stay better since the staple has a lot more fabric to hold on too.

So, here's a much better looking chair, and fairly comfy.

What you guys think?
By the way that green color paint is not longer in the walls aren't we happy.

Kitchen Closet Makeover

Hey guys, I'm finally back with more post, sorry I been MIA.

In my kitchen I have two closets one is for our food pantry and the other one is for storage, I personally use it for my party dishware and baking bowls. The closet has a lot of storage it's just that lately it has been a mess, so finally I decided to do a little organizing.

Everything was everywhere and I couldn't really fit anything any more.

One other thing that I had been meaning to do for a while was putting a fresh coat of paint on the walls since they were really dirty, and I figure this would be a great time to paint since I was organizing the closet anyways. I went to get some color samples a few days before and picked up a yellow from the BM line. It's almost like a butter color which kind of fits with the kitchen right?

At first I was just going to paint the walls, but the shelves were in need of paint too, since they were more of a cream color than a crispy white color. The white paint and primer I had already, which was good since I didn't have to make another trip to the store and I save a few bucks.Which is always a bonus since my husband loves saving bucks..Right ladies!!

The final result was beautiful, the walls and shelves are more defined and clean now. Now the color pops it's really nice.  Now it was finally time to bring everything back in.

There wasn't really any method of how I put things in but I arranged it by putting them into groups.

Like all cake stands together, beverage servers and pitchers.

Plastic utensils, dip servers and trays.

Hot dishes, beer glasses, wine, gobblers, measurement cups.

Mixing bowls, and misc.

I'm really loving the change and now I really want to do the same thing with the pantry since it's a mess too.

Oh and by the way I finished painting our living room last weekend, I can't wait to show you guys, if you follow me on instagram then you probably already saw a sneak peek! Till next time blog on ladies!
